A VISIT TO THE PIER RESTAURANT ABUJA

I want to start this article by sayings that this wasn’t a planned post. So the pictorial contents might not be well explanatory and our visit to the pier restaurant was a last-minute decision but for sure was not a regrettable one. So, you can just enjoy the beautiful photos of I and my friends at The pier restaurant's ambient.

Location

The pier restaurant is located at Ahmadu Bello Way, Kado Abuja. It’s pretty straight forward once you are using google map. But it’s not someplace you can easily locate if you are driving pass reasons because the restaurant itself is quite a drive from the main entrance and the main entrance is not so attractive so you may not easily notice it at first glance.

The environment

The environment was quite serene and this was one of the things I appreciated about the restaurant. They had this sort of mini zoo, well not exactly but there were ducks and a kind of bird (which I didn’t know the name lol) around a corner at the entrance of the restaurant and I felt this was really cute. The restaurant has three igloo tents, the one in the middle is transparent while the remaining two are covered. This concept brought out the beauty of the restaurant. I and my friends stayed at one of the tents which was covered and had air conditioning in it.

It was a birthday hangout so, we needed to stay where we all could be together, relax and be comfortable and this section was the most preferable section for us. The other tents also had really lovely settings especially the one in the middle. When inside, you can have a view of the sky. There is also the outdoor sessions of the restaurant which is also really lovely.

The Menu

The meal was really tasty, fresh and well cooked. You need at least five thousand plus naira drinks not included to get a satisfying meal. If you are looking for somewhere fancy with tasty and well-cooked meals then this is your place. We all had chips but with different chicken. Panfried harissa chicken and honey sesame chicken. So if you want to get the best out of their meals please hold enough cash.

The Customer service

If for any other reason, the customer service alone would definitely keep me coming back. They were sharp and very responsive. We were given a bell to call them at any point we needed them so we didn’t need to shout or stand up to get their attention and at every point, we rang the bell they responded in less than a minute. The timing they brought the food was also very reasonable. It wasn’t too fast and it wasn’t too slow. They were also very nice, welcoming and attentive to all our orders. I’m definitely giving their customer service a 10/10.

The pier restaurant gives you a worthwhile experience. Great ambience to take pictures check! Tasty and well-cooked meals check! Great customer service check! I would say the pier restaurant experience was worth it and it’s definitely a ‘go-to’ restaurant.
